Swede Progress

Today, my swede group made some more progress on our swede. We spent the hour filming more scenes, those including "what ive been looking for" which involved Rob as Ryan and Maddie as Sharpey and we also filmed a scene where Troy and Gabriella exchange glances since seeing eachother at the Karaoke opening scene. We will start editing our swede together soon but we still have a few scenes left to touch up on and improve.

I also spent the night making the cover for our Swede too which i used photoshop for.

First day of filming

First Day Of Filming.

Today, it was our official first day of filming. We managed to film 5 scenes, those including the opening and ending scene,breaking free, Bop to the top and a basketball scene. We also took photos for the opening title scene as well.

The opening and ending scene included Robert as Troy and Katie as the Karaoke guy. Breaking free was involving Me as Gabriella and Robert as Troy. Bop to the Top was filmed with Maddie as Sharpey and Robert again as Ryan. We also filmed a basketball scene between Troy and his father sharing an emotional moment where they are arguing over whether Troy should play Basketball or stay singing.

So far we have made great progress in 2 Hours as we managed to film half of our swede all together. 

I plan on editing the opening title scene tonight.

Swede Preparation

Today, Me,Katie,Beth,Maddie and Rob created the story board for our swede to help us work through the project more efficiently.This will help us work through each scene and have a good understanding of what we will be doing in each part.

We also practised the songs that we are planning on filming for our swede. Those include Getcha head in the game, What i've been looking for, Bop to the Top, Status Quo,breaking free and All in this together. 

We practised miming and dancing to them to figure out the brief dance moves. We will soon be able to start filming some of the songs as we all have a good idea of choreography.

First try of Cinematography.

Today, we were set a task of cinematography. In this lesson i learnt that cinematography is the "The Art of Film" which refers to the way you use light,filters,camera angles and positioning. I also learnt key terms like The rule of thirds,focus,aspect ratio and framing. Our task today was to make an everyday object seem scary by using different techniques and angles. 

The object we were given in our group was a little man.As a group we used camera angles,sound effects and relevant positions that would fit the scary atmosphere we were aiming to create.

Here are some images from the final product. Although its not perfect, but we were just experimenting with different techniques we had learnt and i'm sure as we progress on, we will improve on these camera skills.
