First digipak design

This is our first digipak design. We have created it so that it is plain and simple which is what we wanted our digipak to appear. However, we would like to improve this by adding a little bit more detail to make it more aesthetically pleasing but still simple and effective.

Richard Dyers star theory can be related to our music video LSD because our character in the music video as his theory follows that stars are not real and are constructed to fit our  audiences needs. Filming day at a park

today, we went to congleton park and did some filming for our music video. We wanted to use the outside scenes to add something different into our music video. A different kind of view to the life of our music artist.

This is a screen shot from a scene from our music video. Its got a cross cut of two different pieces of footage we filmed overlapping. we took inspiration from some of adeles music videos where she does something similar in her music videos, We added different colours and overlays to make a more psychedelic effect.

Today we have started editing our raw video for our music video. We have been messing around and using trial and error with different effects to see which ones fit and work well with our video. After editing with the effects we will begin to edit with the transitions to make the video flow more effectively. We have been discovering different ways to use the green screen to help add more technological post production when it comes to editing.

Shooting

Today we came in out of lesson hours early to shoot in the green screen for our music video. We set up the camera so that we could get Monet in the shoot and so we could fit in different effects in the background. We used different camera shots to get different types of effects when we come to edit our videos. We also used what we had to create effects for example we kept putting the videos in and out of focus so we could get effects without even editing and the out of focus creates a good effect that we want for our video. We will use the green screen shots throughout our video and not just in one place so it creates the trippy effect we want.
