Yougov is a website that allows you to analyse an artist etc and get a view in to the demographics of the consumer of their music along with other information on psychographics. Reading the information that was provided, it allowed us to look into our typical audience type which helped with creating a music video that will meet the needs of the consumer.
It shows that our typical listener to asap rocky is a female in her 20's in the social grade ABC. This information is key for us as it tells us how we can use different filming techniques to appeal to this audience.
It also shows that most listeners are located in London, East Anglia and North West which is ironic since we are located in the north wets ourselves which is even better to appeal to our audience.
It also says that our consumer typically uses the internet and listens to music regulary which is also good as our target market is consumers of music and having a passion for it.
