final poster
This is the updated version of our poster which have had many improvements made to them. Many of the improvements to our poster consist mainly of having the main image of Monet which is the same image that we use in our digipak but has a more psychedelic theme to it which makes the poster more attractive to our target audience. Also we have included the Spotify app badge onto our poster and used the same psychedelic image in the background and also the smoke that is on our digipak making the poster more alike with the digipak which is what we wanted. The fonts also match and so do the colours and the drop shadows that we used on the texts
Shooting schedule
Shooting schedule
We will be shooting our video in order of event that will happen in the video. Our shooting schedule will be to record all the outdoors scenes that we want to include first because they will take up a big bulk of our video and also to primarily film the scenes that we will be using a car for as it is important that we get them scenes recorded early in case anything needs to be re filmed. After we have filmed those scenes we will record the ‘party’ scenes in which we will be using the disco lights.
Lighting plans
Lighting plans
Much of the lighting that we will use in our video is natural lighting as we will do a lot of our filming outside. Using the natural lighting we hope to achieve the psychedelic effects on the video that we want and during the editing phases we can change the saturation etc. to achieve those effects as the main part of the video will be the postproduction and using the lighting in the video to create the different effects that we want to include. Another type of lighting that we will use is disco lights. With these lights we hope to achieve a sense that Monet is at a party by using these multi-coloured lights that will naturally provide an effect as they have many different colours such as red, blue and green, in which we will be able to develop on these in the post-production stages.
Costume, makeup and props
Costume and makeup design
The choices of clothing that we will make for our video have been chosen carefully with the genre and target audience in mind. We will use brands such as ‘Puma’ and ‘Adidas’ as they are the types of brands that match our genre of hip hop and rap via stereotypes of the genre. Monet’s pink Puma jumper and Adidas trainers will appear on our poster and digipak as the main photo of our artist because that appeals to the target audience directly so they know exactly the genre of music just by looking at our digipak or the poster. Monet’s makeup (our artist) will be very subtle, the main focus of our video will be on the psychedelic effects that we will be using. By using the subtle make-up, we think that it will be more aesthetically pleasing as she won’t be heavily covered in makeup because we believe that it doesn’t appeal to our target audience.
Props list
Mainly, the only props that we will be using is a car to film the ‘taxi’ scenes, a vape pen to be sued to create the smoke effects and disco lights that will be used to represent Monet at a party.
